Edelweiss, the national flower of Austria and a symbol of the Alps, is protected under the law to keep it safe from extinction. While it may seem harmless for tourists and sightseers to pick this cherished flower in their travels, over-picking eventually leaves the plant unable to grow. Edelweiss also holds the meaning of deep devotion due to its ability to withstand the harshest weather conditions. Not only does this flower have significant meaning in history, but in media as well, specifically in the classic movie The Sound of Music. Michael is honoured to collaborate with actress Angela Cartwright, who portrayed Brigitta von Trappp in the beloved film The Sound of Music, on this beautiful collection celebratings its sixtieth anniversary.
